Make a Difference at CARE's Annual National Conference & Celebration
Raising awareness about the importance of empowering women & girls

The conference will include hands-on training for promoting important issues on Capitol Hill, and in-person meetings with U.S. Senators and Representatives to educate them about why women's empowerment is important to our organization.
Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha, a CARE partner organization, will receive an extension of the early registration rate through mid-April, an invitation to special conference programs and a CARE "I Am Powerful" charm bracelet. Additionally, currently-enrolled students may receive a special student rate.
CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Recognizing that women and girls suffer disproportionately from poverty, CARE places special emphasis on empowering them to create permanent social change. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, expand economic opportunity, increase access to health services and protect natural resources in more than 60 countries around the world.
