Promising Undergrad Member Senselessly Murdered

Being an innocent bystander leads to tragedy

Kebret Tekle of California State University - Sacramento's Eta Lambda Chapter was sitting in her parked car when a fight broke out between two rival gangs. Shots were fired and a bullet hit Kebrek, ending her life.

This real-life tragedy was even more heartbreaking because Tekle was committed to the ideals of service that are rooted in the Sorority.
